The Staff at Durham-Duplex have had to get used to having a bone-fide sport champion in the sales office after Alex Smith, UK Sales South, was part of the winning Blackpool Cricket Club that won the 2014 Northern League Division 1 title for first time in 24 years by beating Penrith Cricket Club at Penrith with a game to spare.
The picture with the Trophy was taken after their last game at home against Darwen Cricket Club and Alex is on the back row, second in from right on team photo. For the cricket buffs Alex is a middle order batsman and a wicked fielder.
They are a fine set of athletes and rightly proud of their achievement.
