The Durham-Duplex Mo Sellers are very glad the November is almost over as they can now shave off their Mo’s and face December fresh faced and kissable once again. They did their Mo Gro for charity and have raised over £500 for their itchy escapades – so well done them all.
Durham-Duplex’s final show of the year was supporting Accutec Blades Inc on their stand at Medica in Dusseldorf 18 – 21 November 2019. Durham-Duplex are Accutec’s UK, EU and EEA distributors and handle business across Europe. “Accutec Blades’ industrial products are very high quality and the specialist medical products they manufacture are excellent. In particular the Dermablade is very popular with Dermatologists and so it was a busy week on the stand.” Said EU Sales Manager David Piper. MD Charles Turner agreed ” Medica is about work hard and play hard and we saw a lot of customers and also ensured our American colleagues saw the best of both Dusseldorf and Koln over the week”.
Nearly completing a busy year of shows Durham-Duplex headed to Brussels for the EMPACK Show at Mechelen Nekker Halle 23-24 October. As European Sales Manager David Piper said “This is a opportunistic show which has turned out to be a good one for us especially with the increased footfall of being in Mechelen making it easier for people to reach by car. I am always impressed by the standard of the other exhibition stands and the in hall catering which made it an enjoyable show with lots of interest in DD’s range of machine knives.”
Durham-Duplex exhibited at the Health and safety North event in Manchester’s Event City 8-9 Oct 2019. Alex Smith and Martin Flanagan took Durham-Duplex’s safety range and the range of OLFA knives to the event and as ever it raised a lot of interest. As Alex said “cutting safely is a hugely important part of being safe in the workplace and so our variety of cuttings option enables companies to find the solution that works for them. The OLFA SK12 generated a lot of interest as did DD’s enclosed blade knives. I am always delighted by the response we get at these shows and Event City worked well for us.”
Durham-Duplex attended the Gulfood Manufacturing exhibition in Dubai as part of the UK pavilion 29-31 October 2019. as ever the show was busy and very international with Sales Director Carl Foster commenting “It was an excellent show with enquiries from across the region and further afield. we counted over 30 nationalities all of which were drawn in by the UK’s reputation for quality and the need to source high quality machine knives for their processing and packaging lines across EMEA.”
