A live exhibition in summer 2021 was probably too much to hope for and as expectde the live Safety and Health exhibition at the Excel scheduled for July 2021 has been moved 2022. However all is not lost as Durham-Duplex were one of the exhibitors at the Safety and Heath Connect virtual exhibition which ran online event 1-30th June. Paul Bottomley, UK Sales Director, agrees that the month long virtual event was a worthwhile exercise:
“Since Empack in Feb 2020 we have been unable to get out and we have all missed the opportunity to meet with and talk to customers face to face rather than just by Zoom and phone. I know that everyone has been in the same boat and whilst I would love to do a live event in July the virtual event was still a very good opportunity to introduce the Company and our products to potential customers. We were on line with our rage of OLFA and DD safety knives and be able to reconnect with both the industry and our customers in the South of England and nationally. As ever we had new OLFA product to show and the reinforced focus on health and safety by companies over the Lockdown means that we had plenty of interest from Industry looking to improve the safety of their cutting operations.”

Durham-Duplex manufactures it’s machine knives in Sheffield and has a particular specialisation in the manufacture of knives and anvils for use in horizontal, or flow wrap, packaging machines.
