The International Hardware Fair or Eisenwarenmesse in Koln brought together the global hardware and DIY industry for a 4 days period 25th -28th September 2022. This biennial event is a hugely important showcase for exhibitors to show their new innovations and for visitors to buy for the next two years. Durham-Duplex were flying the flag as part of the UK pavilion and showing their range of flooring tools, utility blades and hand knives as well as the range of US products that they distribute into Europe for Accutec Blades such as the American Line retail range and their professional products like GEM single edge blades and Personna products.
Managing Director Charles Turner said “We love doing shows in Koln as the visitors are always interested and will come to Koln Messe from far away drawn by both the quality for the exhibitors and the opportunity to do business over a few days and a few kolsch in a great city. For us it is great to show not only our own range of Durham-Duplex utility blades for the professional user but also our range of flooring tools and safety knives. It is also perfect opportunity to show Accutec’s range of professional products and their excellent blades to the European market.”

Durham Duplex exhibited at PPMA Total Show at the NEC 27-29 September 2022. This event is the biennial opportunity for the industry to show its wares and Durham-Duplex exhibited its range of machine knives and industrial blades for use in the food processing and packaging industry.

It is with immense sadness that we learnt about the death of our beloved monarch, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
On behalf of the Directors and all staff at Durham-Duplex we offer our deepest condolences to King Charles and members of the Royal family.
Durham-Duplex and its subsidiaries will observe the National Day of Mourning on 19th September and be closed for the day to all staff to pay their last respects to the Queen.

Durham-Duplex enjoyed exhibiting their range of packaging knives and industrial blades at Empack Ghent in the Flanders Expo, Ghent, 14-15 Sep.
EU Sales Manager David Piper said “Empack works really well for us and Easyfairs are the simplest to do as everything is laid on to maximise our customer facing time. It was our first time in Ghent but the show was good and brought us many opportunities to discuss our packaging knives and safety knives with end users looking for reliability and performance from their cutting edges.”
