Interpack is back and Durham-Duplex are exhibiting!
After six years and a forced absence during the pandemic, the world’s biggest trade fair for the packaging industry and related process industries is up and running again. From May 4 to 10 2023, Düsseldorf becomes a business platform and future technology workshop for the packaging industry.
With 18 halls, targeted exhibition areas, new speciality shows and forums demonstrate the industry’s innovative prowess Durham-Duplex are one of around 2,700 exhibitors from around the world and will be showing the Company’s full range of Packaging and processing knives. Durham-Duplex are in the Components Hall and looking forward to the conversations with customers and potential customers over the 7 days.

Durham-Duplex have had a fun trip to Atlanta GA for IPPE 24 – 26 January 2023. The event is the largest chicken and poultry processing event in the world and as everything is cut – protein and packaging – this sits slap bang in our product range. International Sales Director Carl Foster said “This show has been a staple in the poultry calendar for a long time and fits nicely into our production capability and range of processing and packaging knives. Mark and I have been delighted with the interest in the products and also how the US industry is looking to maximise yield which is where we can assist with our highly engineered machine knives Made in Sheffield and held in inventory in IL.”

Durham Duplex exhibited at PPMA Total Show at the NEC 27-29 September 2022. This event is the biennial opportunity for the industry to show its wares and Durham-Duplex exhibited its range of machine knives and industrial blades for use in the food processing and packaging industry.

Bringing to an end a busy fortnight of shows across 3 countries was Empack and Packaging Innovation at the NEC where Durham-Duplex exhibited its full range of packaging, meat & food processing and safety hand knives to the UK market. Paul Bottomley, UK Sales Director, said “Empack shows work well and we like the package that they offer. The organisers brought in a wide cross section of the industry which made it an attractive event for us to do. We have had a busy event schedule in 2022 but Empack and PI had been a particularly highlight in the diary for a while and we enjoyed our visit to NEC very much. This year we showed our expanded range of meat & poultry processing blades as well as examples of our range of tray knives and some new OLFA safety products.”

Durham-Duplex had an exciting time exhibiting at the PPMA exhibition at the NEC on 28-30th September 2021. This event was co-located with Interplas, Medtech and TCT3Sixty giving a great industrial showcase to the broad range of the Company’s cutting applications for all industry sectors and particularly the packaging, food processing and plastics side of manufacturing. Being a Sheffield manufacturer we understand the importance of national and local supply chains and so the presence of our area sales managers at the PPMA show meant we were able to meet customers old and new from across the UK and Ireland.
